I first saw this stitch on Craftgawker and was intrigued. It looked difficult considering it looks like knitting except with crochet hooks. It is actually super easy and even with just a regular crochet hook it is possible. I do think having the actual Tunisian hook is better because it doesn’t have that indentation in the middle that stretches the stitches. I’m still not sure what I could make with this stitch but it is a cool new stitch to know!
I am thinking a scarf would be a good beginner’s pattern but the tension is too tight. This would be sturdy for a purse though! Oh the possibilities!!!
The creative team at work including 3 of us photographers set up a photo booth for the company anniversary party and it was a hit! I think the open bar might have a little something to do with it also…
