Andaluca, Seattle WA
For the last day of Seattle Restaurant Week, Russel and I wanted to make it count so we chose a Spanish restaurant Andaluca
We began our meals with two incredible appetizers. Russel had the Tuscan Tomato Bread Soup and I had the Chorizo Clams. Delicious! Not too light but not overpowering to start our taste buds!
For our entrees, we had the choice of three small plates but let me tell you...

Staple & Fancy Mercantile, Ballard WA
For my birthday, Russel and I decided to try a new restaurant off of the Seattle Restaurant Week list. This restaurant was also recommended by a couple of our friends. They said nothing but great things about the food and the chef. I ordered the cocktail with Moscato while Russel had Rachel’s Ginger Beer, which we have had before at Revel.
Since it was also a part of Seattle Restaurant...
Labyu!
I am finally slowly learning to call my parents at least once a week only because I am just realizing that I don’t come home to them every night anymore… Sink in to the same couch, cuddle next to my mom and rest my feet on top of my dad’s leg, then talk about the random things about our days throughout the night until we fall asleep with TFC in the background…
When we...

Shrinky Dinks!
I discovered this awesome paper that can be cut out, drawn on, with whatever shape or form before baking it and shrinking it in to a more durable piece! You can pick them up at your local craft store. I found mine at Joann’s Fabric and it was 40% Off so I got lucky and even found some colored versions.
I bought a Martha Stewart butterfly shape punch and punched the shapes out of the...

Castillo di Amorosa, Napa Valley, CA, 2011
I have always loved seeing castles. I don’t know much about them but they are close to being my reality to fairy tales. This one just happen to be surrounded with vineyards instead of water…
We are not winos but we enjoy a glass every now and then. Surprisingly, our most favorite drink we tasted on this tour was grape juice. It was the best $12 bottle of grape juice we have ever...

Star Struck
I met my favorite chef today, Rachel Yang of Joule and Revel to photograph some of her dishes for an article in City Arts Magazine. First meet was all-business. I did my job there effortlessly but with lots of perspiration. When it was time to let her know I was done, I became all giddy and told her she was my favoritest chef ever. Way to go Professional Photographer! Hahaha…
It’s a...

Crafty Friends!
My awesome friend Tiffany was asked to donate some of her creative cards for an auction so she asked me to photograph them before they all go home to generous families :)
This is just one out of many but I like this one a lot because it is rare to find cards that use color black as part of their main design. This card is so romantic…

Marination Station
This is not a food review but merely a reminiscing blog of our love for Marination. We love them so much we try to find them when we’re in Seattle with a grumbling tummy. We are still waiting for “Musubis for Boobies” by the way…
I remember running into Marination Mobile for the first time in Capitol Hill right next to the Shell station. It was so random because Russel...

Glass Blower
Watching a glass blower is a pretty scary experience for me. I think it’s because I’m so afraid of playing with fire and anything hot. From another artist’s point-of-view though, the experience was still amazing. Just watching someone make something from a simple blob of melted glass is something I can’t even imagine. If I were to create an analogy, it might be something...
